Beyond the Horizon

Black Flats Rover Unit is the Rover Scout section at 2nd Glen Waverley Scout Group.

The Rover section is compromised of young adults who are usually looking to get involved in the outdoors, making friends for life as well as service to the community and Scouting. The motto of Rover Scouts is simply 'Service'.

Every 3 years Rovers from all around Australia hold a national "Moot". Rovers can also participate in a multitude of local and regional based camps and activities on a more regular basis.

Meeting Time:

Tuesday - 7:45 pm to 10:00 pm plus some weekend activities.

Award Scheme:

The highest achievement a Rover Scout can attain is the Baden Powell Award.
